This brownie does not get much better. Rich in antioxidants, protein, vitamins, and minerals, this is a heart-healthy treat with no regrets! Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
Dry Ingredients:
- ¾ cup coconut sugar
- ¼ cup Delores hemp seeds
- 3 tablespoon cacao nibs
- ½ cup oat flour
- ⅓ cup cacao powder
- ¼ cup coconut flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon rock salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a 7×11 (or 9×9) glass pan with coconut oil.
- In a small bowl, mix together all WET ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, mix DRY ingredients: coconut sugar, hemp hearts, and cacao nibs; then sift in oat flour, coconut flour, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a dry mix bowl, make a center and slowly mix in the wet ingredients.
- Evenly spoon batter into greased pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool in pan before frosting or cutting.
