Squats: Form is Everything!

Squats are one of the most effective exercises for strengthening your glutes, legs, and core, and focusing on proper form is key—especially for beginners. With this set led by CEO and Founder Ann Barnes, you can get a full lower-body workout in just 60 seconds.

Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and your chest lifted. Engage your core by gently drawing your belly button inward. Slowly bend your knees and lower your hips back and down, as if sitting into an invisible chair. Keep your weight in your heels and ensure your knees do not extend past your toes. Pause briefly at the bottom, then press through your heels to return to standing.

Move at a controlled pace, focusing on smooth motion and proper alignment. Even a short 60-second set can effectively tone muscles, improve balance, and build strength when performed with correct form.
